Heatons Furniture aims to achieve the highest possible standards in all areas of the business. If, in the unlikely event, you do receive goods which are not in perfect condition or you wish to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of receipt as long as it is unused, unwashed and in its original packaging.


Delivery Information


We deliver to mainland UK postcodes for free.

We will either use our own vehicle to complete the delivery or one of our preferred third party delivery services. This may be a 1 man or 2 man delivery depending on the size and weight of the item(s).

Some couriers might deliver the items on a curb side or leave them in front of the door. Ground floor delivery only. We do not deliver to Ireland or Northern Ireland. 

Remote Areas

We do not deliver to remote areas such as the Channel Islands, Grampian, Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles. 

Shipping

Once your payment has been made your order will go straight through to
the delivery team.

If your order is coming with one of our preferred third party couriers, we will
send you an email once we have dispatched it. This email will tell you the name of the courier and the tracking number if applicable, so you can stay updated all the way.

Once collected by our preferred delivery service you should expect to receive your order within 3-5 working days.


Returns

If you wish to return your items, our returns policy allows you to return your item(s) within 30 days after receiving the items. Returning items is at your expense. 

If your items are unfortunately faulty, there will be no extra charge for collection.

What You Need to Know Before You Start a Return:

What Cannot be Returned Under the 30 Day Returns Policy

  • Altered goods
  • Items that are no longer in their original condition and packaging
  • Commercial Orders
  • Ex-Display Clearance items


Faulty and damaged items will be eligible for a return and no collection fee
will be charged. 


Return Packaging


All returned goods must be wrapped in packaging as our couriers do not
transport unpackaged items. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you keep the original packaging if you would like to return the goods.


For all change of mind returns, please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the items are returned to us in the same condition and packaging you received them and that the items are dismantled.

Our Distribution Centre Team assesses every item that is returned to us. If you have received a faulty or damaged item that needs to be returned and you have disposed of the original packaging, we kindly ask you to source alternative material, for example, bubble wrap & for the item to be re-boxed. Please note that the penalty fee does not apply to faulty or damaged items.

Refunds Policy

For return cases, we will process your refund within 5-10 business days of receiving the items. For all other refunds, it will be processed within 7 business days.

If your payment card expires before we process your refund, please contact our Customer Care team by telephone on 0161 787 9214 with your sort code and account number so we can refund you via BACS payment.

We will refund your original delivery charge if:

  • we made an error in our despatch or
  • if the item received is faulty, unfit for purpose and has been unused/unwashed or
  • you have returned the order in full or if you are cancelling within 30 days of  receiving the order

Our refunds policy is in addition to your statutory rights.
